** not all urns contain plastic liner shown in the Granite Urn diagram.
Our granite urns, granite human urns and granite pet urns, are opened and closed by the sealing disc located at the bottom of the granite urn.  The sealing disc will create a tight seal to hold the cremains/ashes inside the cremation urn container.  ** the plastic liner shown in diagram is only available in the Large-GU-GE Granite Urn collection.  When opening the cremation urn, to fill it, you need to turn the urn over, please place the urn on a towel to protect it from scratching the polished surface on the top of granite urn.
